Nobody knows what lies behind the mask. In Roco Kingdom, Wispi is a little ghost that hides its face from everyone while it eats, and it grows into Wispera, a mystic said to glimpse the secrets of life and the cosmos at the end of its days. This Shadow-class line is fast, strong in magic and impossible to hurt for any Jini that has run out of Energy. Here is how the line grows and how to use it.
The evolution line
- Wispi (No. 054): Its mask can come off, but it hides from everyone while feeding. A faintly glowing substance coats its body, and whatever lies underneath seems to be fluid.
- Wispade (No. 055): Wrapped in twin ghostly flames and shrouded in mystery, it never gains weight no matter how much it eats. Anything that goes into the mouth behind its mask simply disappears.
- Wispera (No. 056): It is said that when members of the Wispera line reach the end of their lives, they glimpse the secrets of life and the cosmos. They are deeply devoted to souls and stars, and the eye-shaped markings on their masks seem to stand for that belief.
All three stages are Shadow class and share the same trait.

Variants
Wispade and Wispera each come in two looks:
- Open-Eyed Variant
- Close-Eyed Variant
Fittingly, Poppixie has a Wispera Variant that borrows this line’s look.
Trait: Startle
Startle makes this Jini immune to damage from Jinies with 0 Energy.
Opponents that have spent all their Energy cannot hurt this line at all. It pairs especially well with Jinies that drain energy, such as Stumbral, Bellora or Mycavor.
Stats at every stage
Here is how Species Aptitude grows from stage to stage:
- Wispi, 366 total: HP 55, Physical Attack 30, Magic Attack 72, Physical Defense 59, Magic Defense 81, Speed 69
- Wispade, 488 total: HP 74, Physical Attack 40, Magic Attack 96, Physical Defense 78, Magic Defense 108, Speed 92
- Wispera, 610 total: HP 92, Physical Attack 50, Magic Attack 120, Physical Defense 98, Magic Defense 135, Speed 115
This is a fast magic attacker with excellent magic resistance. Wispera’s 120 Magic Attack and 115 Speed let it strike first and hard, and its 135 Magic Defense helps it shrug off magic hits. Its Physical Attack is low, so stick to magic skills.
Size and capture details:
- Wispi: 0.38 to 0.55 m, 0.1 to 0.55 kg. Gives 16 Starlight and a 1,200 Roco Coin base review reward.
- Wispade: 0.75 to 0.86 m, 0.12 to 1.16 kg. Gives 28 Starlight and a 2,100 Roco Coin base review reward.
- Wispera: 1.55 to 1.65 m, 1.5 to 2.86 kg. Gives 40 Starlight and a 3,000 Roco Coin base review reward.
Even at its largest, Wispera stands over 1.5 m tall but weighs less than 3 kg. That matches Wispade’s Codex entry about never gaining weight.
Class effectiveness
When attacking with Shadow skills:
- Deals ×2 damage to: Light, Shadow and Stellar
- Deals ×0.5 damage to: Common and Havoc
When defending as a Shadow-class Jini:
- Takes ×2 damage from: Light, Shadow and Havoc
- Takes ×0.5 damage from: Common, Poison, Bug and Fighting
All other matchups deal normal ×1 damage. Shadow-versus-Shadow fights cut both ways, so speed matters: Wispera’s 115 Speed helps it land the first hit.
Research skills and Specialties
Wispera’s research skills are:

- Invocation
Every stage in the line shares the same Specialty odds:
- None: 64%
- Ambusher: 6.9%

- Fearless: 6.9%

Where to start
- Evolve Wispi all the way to Wispera. Its total Species Aptitude climbs from 366 to 610.
- Pair it with energy-draining Jinies so more opponents hit 0 Energy and cannot damage it.
- Build around Magic Attack and Speed.
- Send it in against Light and Stellar opponents.
- Switch out against Havoc attackers, and be careful in Shadow matchups.
- Collect both the Open-Eyed and Close-Eyed variants.
