It is small, but nothing gets past it, and it will stand up to any enemy no matter how big. In Roco Kingdom, Sparkpup is a loyal, fearless Fire-class Jini that grows into Blazehound, a fast fighter whose crest and tail blaze like flames in battle. Both hit twice as hard on the turn they enter. Here is how the line grows and how to use it.
The evolution line
- Sparkpup (No. 047): Always alert, nothing gets past its watchful eyes. It is modest in size but fearless at heart, and it will stand up to any enemy, however intimidating.
- Blazehound (No. 048): When its fighting spirit flares, its crest and tail flicker like roaring flames. The scarf it wears is filled with magic and seems to boost its fire power.
Both stages are Fire class, share the same trait and belong to the Land egg group.

Trait: Focused Mind
Focused Mind raises Physical Attack by 100% for the first turn after this Jini enters the field.
That makes this line a powerful switch-in. Bring it in, and its very first attack hits with double Physical Attack. Swap it out and back in to use the boost again.
Stats at every stage
Here is how Species Aptitude grows from Sparkpup to Blazehound:
- Sparkpup, 451 total: HP 68, Physical Attack 103, Magic Attack 37, Physical Defense 81, Magic Defense 66, Speed 96
- Blazehound, 562 total: HP 85, Physical Attack 128, Magic Attack 46, Physical Defense 101, Magic Defense 82, Speed 120
This is a fast physical attacker. Blazehound’s 128 Physical Attack and 120 Speed let it strike first and hard, and Focused Mind doubles that power on its first turn. Even Sparkpup is a strong fighter, with 103 Physical Attack before it evolves.
Size and capture details:
- Sparkpup: 0.64 to 0.92 m, 13.6 to 17.5 kg. Gives 16 Starlight and a 1,200 Roco Coin base review reward.
- Blazehound: 1.13 to 1.62 m, 39.5 to 51.5 kg. Gives 40 Starlight and a 3,000 Roco Coin base review reward.
Class effectiveness
When attacking with Fire skills:
- Deals ×2 damage to: Flora, Ice, Bug and Mech
- Deals ×0.5 damage to: Water, Earth and Dragon
When defending as a Fire-class Jini:
- Takes ×2 damage from: Water and Earth
- Takes ×0.5 damage from: Flora, Ice, Bug, Charm and Mech
All other matchups deal normal ×1 damage. With just two weaknesses, this line is fairly safe on defense. Flora, Ice, Bug and Mech Jinies are ideal targets, since it both hits them hard and resists their attacks.
