Your Blink account

We store your email address, public name, a password hash, login sessions, and the interactions you choose to save. Your email address is not shown in public comments. Your public name and comments are public.

Why we use this information

We use it to verify your account, sign you in, sync saved guides and reactions, show comments, and prevent abuse. Reports are available to authorized editors for moderation. Login cookies are essential to these features and expire after seven days. We do not send marketing emails through the account verification system.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the website, account database and uploaded media. Resend delivers account verification and password-reset emails when email delivery is enabled. Security controls use request information to limit abuse.

Your choices

You can read the website without an account, delete your own comments, and permanently delete your account from Me → Account settings. Account deletion removes your live account, saved guides, reactions and comments. Operational backups and security logs may retain copies until they expire.
