If a tree in the shade seems to be following you, it probably is. In Roco Kingdom, Stumbral is a Shadow and Flora Jini whose “totally normal tree” disguise fools no one, yet it keeps trying anyway. It means no harm and simply likes to follow Rocos around. Its Alpha form, Briaith, is a far more menacing sight. Both drain the opponent’s energy the moment they enter battle. Here is everything you need to know.
Stumbral and its Alpha form
- Stumbral (No. 035, Original form): Its two arms seem to have minds of their own, and in the shade you might mistake them for two extra Jinies. Its tree disguise is painfully obvious, but it keeps doing it anyway, just to follow Rocos around.
- Briaith (No. 035, Alpha form): It has magically grown extra limbs unique to its kind, turning both arms into massive thorned vines that can grab and swing. From a distance, it looks like three uneven, withered trees slowly dragging themselves forward.
Both forms are Shadow and Flora class. Briaith is not a separate evolution but Stumbral’s Alpha form, and it shares Stumbral’s Codex number. Stumbral is also one of the 17 Jinies that can disguise themselves as objects in the world, so use Starry Magic if a tree looks suspicious.

Traits: Pickpocket and Windfall
- Pickpocket (Stumbral): When Stumbral enters the field, it steals 2 Energy from every enemy Jini on the field.
- Windfall (Briaith): When Briaith enters the field, it steals 3 Energy from every enemy Jini on the field.
Both traits work instantly, so switching this Jini in at the right moment can stop an opponent from using a big, energy-heavy skill. Briaith’s version steals even more.
Stats
The two forms have nearly identical Species Aptitude, with Briaith slightly ahead:
- Stumbral, 571 total: HP 111, Physical Attack 96, Magic Attack 96, Physical Defense 65, Magic Defense 123, Speed 80
- Briaith, 576 total: HP 113, Physical Attack 96, Magic Attack 96, Physical Defense 66, Magic Defense 125, Speed 80
Its equal Physical and Magic Attack let it go either way on offense. High HP and Magic Defense make it tough against magic attackers, but its low Physical Defense leaves it open to physical hits.
Size and capture details:
- Stumbral: 0.64 to 0.92 m, 29.5 to 37.5 kg. Gives 42 Starlight and a 3,150 Roco Coin base review reward.
- Briaith: 1.01 to 1.45 m, 55.7 to 72.7 kg.
Class effectiveness
When attacking:
- Shadow skills deal ×2 damage to: Light, Shadow and Stellar
- Shadow skills deal ×0.5 damage to: Common and Havoc
- Flora skills deal ×2 damage to: Water, Light and Earth
- Flora skills deal ×0.5 damage to: Fire, Dragon, Poison, Bug, Wing and Mech
When defending as a Shadow / Flora Jini:
- Takes ×2 damage from: Fire, Ice, Wing, Shadow and Havoc
- Takes ×0.5 damage from: Common, Water, Earth, Electro and Fighting
All other matchups deal normal ×1 damage. Light-class Jinies are an ideal target, since both its Shadow and Flora skills hit them for double damage.

Where to start
- Use Stumbral as a switch-in. Its Pickpocket trait drains 2 Energy from every enemy the moment it enters.
- Go for Briaith if you can. Windfall steals 3 Energy instead of 2.
- Pick physical or magic attacks freely, since both stats are equal.
- Hunt Light-class Jinies, which take double damage from both its classes.
- Switch out against Fire, Ice, Wing, Shadow and Havoc attackers, and watch out for strong physical hitters.
- Check suspicious trees with Starry Magic. A disguised Stumbral may be hiding inside.
