Hatching your own Jini is one of the best ways to get the partner you want, including rare Chromatic and Prismatic ones. In Roco Kingdom, eggs come from battles, your home and even from friends, and a few simple tricks make them hatch much faster. This guide covers getting eggs, hatching them, reading egg tags and passing traits on with blessings.
Where to get eggs
You can get Jini eggs in four ways:
- Alphas: Defeat an Alpha and claim its rewards.
- The Jini Nest at Home: Place suitable Jinies at Home, and eggs will appear on the nest.
- Jini Expeditions: Send the right Jini out from the map.
- Trades: Swap spare regular eggs with a friend.

How hatching works
You have three incubators, and each one holds one egg. To hatch an egg:
- Pick an egg from your Inventory and place it in an empty incubator.
- Let it hatch over time. Walking around the world speeds this up.
- When the egg shows Complete, choose a Buddy Pod to forge a pact with the new Jini.
Keep in mind that taking an egg out of an incubator resets its progress to zero, so only start eggs you plan to finish.
Hatching Codexes speed things up even more:
- Beginner Hatching Codex: +5% progress
- Intermediate Hatching Codex: +20% progress
- Advanced Hatching Codex: +50% progress
- Master’s Hatching Codex: Sets progress straight to 100%

Reading egg tags
Some eggs carry a tag, and the tag decides which Buddy Pods can welcome the hatchling:
- Precious Jini Egg: Any Buddy Pod
- Chromatic Jini Egg: Any Buddy Pod
- Prismatic Jini Egg: Any Buddy Pod except (Season) Prism Pods
- Chromatic Prismatic Jini Egg: Any Buddy Pod except (Season) Prism Pods
- Unique Jini Egg: Any Buddy Pod except (Season) Prism Pods
- Customizable Prismatic Jini Egg: You cannot choose a Buddy Pod
Two more rules apply:
- Tagged eggs cannot be blessed or given to friends.
- Every non-season Prismatic Jini you collect adds one puzzle piece toward a Prismatic egg.

Blessings and gifting
A blessing passes traits from your active Jini to an egg. To give one:
- Get a Legacy Charm.
- Make sure the egg is a non-Rare egg of the same species as your active Jini.
- Use the charm to bless the egg.
Here is what a blessing does:
- Carried over: Personality, Specialty and the types of Individual Aptitude
- Randomly re-rolled: The Individual Aptitude values
- Can be changed: Some Buddy Pods can alter what a blessing gave, and the game asks you to confirm first.
You can also send eggs to friends:
- Unlock the fourth Wishing Star node on the Friendship Tree.
- Gift a non-Rare egg to a friend.
- You can send one egg gift per day.
