It moves without a sound, it barely makes a noise, and by the time it reaches its final form it has a glowing flower between its horns that leaves foes confused. In Roco Kingdom, Coneffy and its evolutions Bellune and Bellora form a quick, physically sturdy Shadow-class line with a sneaky trait that drains the opponent’s energy. Here is how each stage grows and how to use them.

The evolution line

  1. Coneffy (No. 015, Shadow): Its fluffy white fleece and soft footpads are perfect for silent movement, keeping it hidden across hillsides and grasslands. It is quiet by nature, so instead of calling out, it talks to its kin by gently bumping horns.
  2. Bellune (No. 016, Shadow): It sleeps through the day and stirs only at dawn or dusk, living alone rather than with the herd. It walks up hills as if they were flat ground and can leap from over 100 meters without getting hurt.
  3. Bellora (No. 017, Shadow / Havoc): Its horns grow sharper, and a blue flower blooms between them. The petals droop when it is tired and perk up when it is refreshed, and at night the flower gives off an eerie glow that confuses its foes.

Bellora gains the Havoc class on evolving, which matters a lot for this line’s trait.

Trait: Playing Victim

After this Jini uses a Havoc-class skill, the enemy loses 2 Energy.

All three stages share this trait. It works with any Havoc skill, but it really shines on Bellora, which gets same-class strength from its own Havoc skills. Every Havoc attack both deals damage and slows down the opponent’s next big move.

Stats at every stage

Here is how Species Aptitude grows from stage to stage:

  1. Coneffy, 349 total: HP 67, Physical Attack 66, Magic Attack 29, Physical Defense 72, Magic Defense 49, Speed 66
  2. Bellune, 466 total: HP 89, Physical Attack 89, Magic Attack 39, Physical Defense 96, Magic Defense 65, Speed 88
  3. Bellora, 582 total: HP 112, Physical Attack 111, Magic Attack 48, Physical Defense 120, Magic Defense 81, Speed 110

This line is built for physical combat at every stage. Bellora’s 110 Speed lets it act early, and its 120 Physical Defense helps it take hits from physical attackers.

Size and capture details:

  1. Coneffy: 0.57 to 0.81 m, 13.3 to 16.5 kg. Gives 16 Starlight and a 1,200 Roco Coin base review reward.

Class effectiveness

Coneffy and Bellune (Shadow)

When attacking with Shadow skills:

  1. Deals ×2 damage to: Light, Shadow and Stellar
  2. Deals ×0.5 damage to: Common and Havoc

When defending:

  1. Takes ×2 damage from: Light, Shadow and Havoc
  2. Takes ×0.5 damage from: Common, Poison, Bug and Fighting

Bellora (Shadow / Havoc)

When attacking:

  1. Shadow skills deal ×2 damage to: Light, Shadow and Stellar
  2. Shadow skills deal ×0.5 damage to: Common and Havoc
  3. Havoc skills deal ×2 damage to: Poison, Charm and Shadow
  4. Havoc skills deal ×0.5 damage to: Light, Fighting and Havoc

When defending:

  1. Takes ×4 damage from: Light
  2. Takes ×2 damage from: Charm

Evolving into Bellora removes the Shadow and Havoc weaknesses, but it doubles the Light weakness to ×4. Keep Bellora well away from Light attackers.

Where to start

  1. Evolve Coneffy all the way to Bellora. Its total Species Aptitude climbs from 349 to 582, and it gains the Havoc class.
  2. Build around Physical Attack and Speed, the line’s strongest stats.
  3. Pack Havoc skills to trigger Playing Victim, so every Havoc hit drains 2 Energy from the opponent.
  4. Use Shadow skills against Light, Shadow and Stellar foes, and Havoc skills against Poison, Charm and Shadow foes.
  5. Switch Bellora out against Light-class opponents, since they deal four times the damage.
