Buddy Pods are the core capture items in Roco Kingdom. Some are basic tools for everyday use, some are better for specific Jini classes, and others offer premium effects such as easier captures, Talent boosts, or special appearance-related bonuses.
This guide focuses only on the 16 Buddy Pods shown in the current chart, grouped into three categories: Buddy Pods, Unique Pods, and Class Pods.
Pod Categories at a Glance
The 16 Buddy Pods in this guide are divided into:
- Buddy Pods – standard capture tools for everyday use
- Unique Pods – special Pods with extra value or special effects
- Class Pods – Pods that work better on specific classes of Jinies

These are the basic capture items every player should know first.

Unique Pods
Unique Pods go beyond standard capturing. Some improve Talent, some change appearance-related outcomes, and some are simply better premium options.
Ember Pod The Ember Pod is a special Pod with a more premium feel than standard Pods. It is mainly notable for its visual style and special status in the pod lineup. Throw Effect: a flickering white glow trail

Which Buddy Pod Should You Use?
If you just want a reliable everyday option, start with the Basic Pod or Advanced Pod.
If you want more premium value, the King’s Pod, Prism Pod, and Coco Pod are stronger special-purpose choices.
If you are specifically targeting certain Jinies, Class Pods are the better option:
- Use Net Pod for Water- and Wing-type targets
- Use Thermal Pod for Fire- and Ice-type targets
- Use Solar Pod for Flora- and Light-type targets
- Use Shift Pod for disguised or special-form Jinies
